This is a K'nex set I got for Christmas that has levers, pulleys and gears. In this pic I made a balance and a pair of scissors.

Each year we bet to buy a new ornament and this year I chose this BBQ grill. I didn't know until we opened it that you can stick a xmas light in the back of it to make it light up!

While at the shopping mall, we bought some Lego candy that you can actually build with before you eat it!

My grandma Loretta brought our xmas gifts early since we won't see her on Christmas. She gave me a new microscope kit and my brother got a metal detector!

While on a walk today my mom pointed out all the goose prints in the mud and thought it would make a cool picture! If you look closely you can spot a dog print and a shoe print in there, too!

One of our new Wii games!! Today was the first day of Christmas vacation. Mom and dad let us open a few of our Christmas presents early so we could enjoy them for our entire school break! I will post picks of the other two games tomorrow!

We went to a Wonderland of Gingerbread/ice skating event for my online school today. We got to vote on our favorite ginger bread house and I chose this one because it's the house from Blue's Clues. It had a thinking chair inside and Joe is coming out of the door (Blue and magenta are in the back of the house)! It ended up being one of the winners so I was happy!

We had a Christmas party today and we made two craft projects and decorated cookies. This is a picture of what I made!

My uncle made goodie bags at their holiday party for the kids and here's two of the toys that were in it. I love the little electronic racing game and the bouncy star that lights up when you throw it!

We went to a holiday party at my cousins house and this is the book I got in our book exchange. Instead of exchanging new gifts we decided to do a used-book exchange like the one my cousin does at his school. A good way to trade out our old (or duplicate) books for something in our cousins' library :)

My brother and I love when mom gets out all the Christmas decorations and we have a lot of favorites. The ones we look forward to the most are these two nutcrackers! We love to stick nuts in their mouths and crush them!

It's been too cold to put all our Christmas lights up this week but my mom managed to run a string on our back deck. They are blue and white snowflakes I picked out at the store.

I printed this recipe from the Build-a-bearville website. Mrs Claus' famous blueberry muffins. Mom and Riley made them for breakfast, yum!

I got this sample of Crest Sparkle toothpaste at the dentist along with a new toothbrush, floss and two toys since I didn't have any cavities!

While out shopping for Christmas lights, we spotted some wind turbines and decided to take a closer look. This is as close as we could get without going through the gates of NREL but we could see they are very tall! I had to use my mom's phone to take this picture so it's not a great shot. We will try to go back and take a tour someday soon!

We went out to buy a Christmas tree tonight and when my dad stopped at the store to buy a stand for the tree, he bought a variety of candy canes to hang on the tree...and eat!
